Memory can tell us only what we were,
In company with those we loved;
It cannot help us find out what each of us,
Alone, must now become.
Yet, no person is really alone;
those who live no more still echo
within our thoughts and words,
and what they did has become
Woven into what we are.

dear aunty hellen,
i knew u just for two years, when u first discovered u were sick but though in your sickness u were such a great person. though in pains, your stories were a lot of fun. Whenever we visited you, i was sure to laugh. i feel so bad that God had to call you this soon but i know he needs you most and you are always going to find eternal peace by his side. we know you've gone further to prepare the way for us. Adieu aunty "The HEL". We will miss you greatly.
Dear Helen,
we were sad when we heard that you had been struck by Cancer. We prayed and hoped that you will beat the odds. We worried about your little daughter and prayed that you would stay here and raise her. Well, the news came with much sadness and yes much relief. You can now rest in peace. you shall have no more pain. Your little daughter now has a guardian angel to watch over her and protect her.
We wanted you here but the good lord needed you there.
Sleep tight dear friend.
Helen,
The world has become darker without your smile. You were a sunshine amongst us in Saker Baptist College. You brought us so much fun and laughter with your stories.
Your beautiful smile and dimples will forever be imprinted in my memory.
My first fight in Saker was with you, but we became friends after that.
Farewell friend. You fought a difficult battle but The Good Lord wants you at His side.
So rest in peace.

I met Helen once when Lilian Ndoke and I stopped by to check on her health. I was blown away by her calmness and acceptance of what was going on in her life in regards to her illness. I remembered her telling us about her diet, because she had just started a new diet which consisted of only fresh fruits, and raw vegetables.
I will never forget this young beautiful life taken so not ready. My prayers are with the entire family, especialy her daughter. May Helen find peace where ever she is Amen.
ASHAKE.
